this is a great idea for anyone with a digital camera, especially those of you who have expensive equipment...this kid went a little too far IMO, but, a snap of a simple note could mean you getting your camera returned to you (by an honest person, of course)

Can't seem to find an answer on the City's web-site. I'm updating my phone's on-board contacts information (because the old one was lost in an equipment change). What number comes up on the Caller ID when the City calls on the CodeRED system? Also, can I view or update my current CodeRED information without risking 2 calls for the same event?

Just in case you are like me and start taking the Christmas tree down Christmas night (lol). Here is a tidbit of information for you:

Special curbside collection of Christmas trees will be the week of January 11-15, on your regular trash collection day. Tres are picked up in a seperate truch and must be free of decorations and lights. Have trees out by 7am - NO PLASTIC BAGS! Trees in bags will NOT be picked up. You may also bring your tree to the Compost Faciclity @ Dogtown...
