Its amazing when they give the kids the IV. They are like little blooming roses that come back to life. She'll be feeling better instantly.

young family member admitted to Beverly Hospital last night for dehydration :( In between throwing up, she smiled.

A family member was in the hospital for several days last week with pneumonia. Very uncharacterisitc, of him to go into the hospital. Always "cracks hardy." He's responded to antibiotics, and feels ok now, with 2-3 days on meds to go.

It is very strange. One day I am okay and then the next day --- yuck. I talked to Leslie last night and she still can barely talk! Whatever this is, it is no fun at all.

And I spoke to soon. Spent Sunday/Monday barfing and other assorted vile bodily outputs. Feel like s***! Nothing seems to be working. I am up today but the stomach is rejecting the rest of my body.

I had the flue shot and then headed south for the winter.I have not noticed if people down here have alot of problems with the flue,maybe being outdoors and not the confined spaces makes a differnce.I think having the flue shot helps and being outdoors might make a big difference.
The temp. today in South Florida was 86,not sorry that I am missing the flue.

I've been battling a nasty flu for a week. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Anyone else fall victim to this nasty flu?

Any remedies you want to share? I've been chocking down theraflu for 4 days and tylenol, hasn't helped a lick.
