Has anyone had great or not so great results from visiting a any kind of alternative or holistic practitioner? Some years back, I was suffering severe and
constant stress headaches. I went to 'the doctor' who 'referred' me to a 'specialist'. Without an X-Ray or thorough examination he
ascertained that I had TMJ and required surgery. I walked out the door. 2 days later I saw...

Good for you Gypsy, I'm coming to terms with the same realization which I also knew for a long time. pgncov, you also add to that with the corn syrup

fight bad genes may have to take a hiatus from fruits for awhile until the seas have calmed.

I agree with what you said, Gypsy, except the part about "sugar". Does that mean people shouldn't eat fruit which has fructose, a natural sugar?
The real problem, I believe, is corn syrup. There is some evidence that our bodies metabolize this through different pathways other than the Krebs Cycle or
oxidative phosphorylation which could be contributing to the rise in type II diabetes we now see. The evidence is not clear and the studies are more
observational than experimental...
