True enough, Ev... people who are that bigoted tend not to vote Dem anyway -- and people so goddamned ignorant and stupid that they believe the crap in that email also generally don't vote Dem.

I think the people who wouldn't vote for him on that basis wouldn't be likely to vote for him anyway. I'm more worried about the Dems who won't vote for him because they feel he's not ready for prime time or he's shown some evidence that he's more of a politics as usual guy than he bills himself as being or he's just not specific about plans or his campaign people are getting too arrogant. It scares the hell out of me that McCain could actually win and...

Sadly, I know a lot of people who will not vote for Obama - because of all the email crap floating around about his being a Muslim. And, that, scares the hell out of me. I'm not political on a good day, but I would never vote for a candidate based on email spam - especially when a quick check would determine it's false (not that I'm adverse to a Muslim president either).

Barack Obama will win the Mississippi Democratic primary, CNN projects.

The state has 33 Democratic delegates up for grabs. Meanwhile, CNN estimates show that Obama won last week's Texas Democratic caucuses and will get more delegates out of the state than rival Hillary Clinton, who won the state's primary.
