The irony is that Kaptain Kirk changed her mind a few weeks ago and asked LL to remain in the position. LL had already accepted the offer from the private firm.

What a funny twist to this saga. For all the people who wished for LL to be gone, she will still be retained by the city. I imagine the cost to the city will be much higher than if she were still city employee, and for the same legal services.

The city now finds itself, 4 months after the announcement LL wouldn't be reappointed, without chief counsel. Funny thing, I remember thinking "what if we get to the end of the 90 days and no attorney is hired?" The city...

Linda Lowe is still doing evil deeds in the cities name. A Mayor needs to realize that the acts of every city employee reflect on the Mayor. Lowe is letting her personal feelings and hatreds get in the way of what is best for the city as a whole, and the residents may be stuck with the bills in the end. I had a wonderful talk with Carolyn on May 15th, but since then Lowe has been on a rampage in the opposite direction. Not good, and time is running out.
