We do alot with pics and graphics for our business, so we really need the Macs for updating, etc...

It's SO much easier to work on the website with a Mac...

Plus, it's way faster

HP is number one or two worldwide in pc sales. Way better hardware than Dell, IMHO.

I was reading Consumer Reports while standing in the check-out line at S&S and discovered that the computer I just bought is rated #2 by them in their "Workhorse" category.

when i returned my beach chair'S, LLBean even sent UPS to pick them up...for free..

I never even knew about that. I have bought LL Bean stuff over the years and have always been happy with their quality and how long their stuff lasts. I'm wearing pull-on Bean boots right now. Often, quality does trump price.

That is their standard question. I have never been able to answer it dishonestly, and have walked out of the store with empty hands. (Honestly, the only time I was ever faced with this dilemma Joe is describing is when I brought in some director's chair canvas backs and seats to match with new ones,...

You know, honestly, on most things I really don't think their prices are high. We're so used to shopping in places like Target or other discounters that maybe we're comparing apples and oranges when it comes to price for quality. I find comparable stuff to theirs to be about the same price or even higher elsewhere. Plus no tax and much of the time, free delivery.

Actually Squig, that's probably why their prices are high, to cover the cost of people returning items that they shouldn't
