			<description><![CDATA[ Don&#39;t know. The law usually tries to seek common sense. Something washed up on shore has a whole different status than something smuggled in, illegally.
Bet someone here could expound on who is entitled to stuff washed overboard from shipwrecks, for instance. Know in Gloucester, and Outer Cape Cod, it&#39;s
always been finders/keepers and who got to the wreck first, decided who got stuff lost overboard. That tradition came from the ancient English law, some of
which went back all the way... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Interesting. Having been to both the Nantucket Whaling Museum and the New Bedford Whaling Museum many times (as well as the Peabody-Essex), I can say that the
scrimshaw exhibited there is an art form of exquisite beauty. However, I don&#39;t know what the rules are now. Can whale teeth that are washed up on shore be
used? Or can the ivory from lost tusks be sold for such purposes? Guess I need to Google this. (Is &quot;Google&quot; a verb?) ]]></description>
