Baltimore Orioles are feasting on oranges in the neighborhood (while at Camden Yards they feast on Beckett), and I saw my first ruby-throated hummingbird as it briefly stopped on my mayflower tree on Monday.

Zan, I empathize with you. I dealt with it, too, due to lumbar and sacral trauma. If I don't keep my core strong and stretch often, I will still get those pins and needles into my foot after strenuous exercise.

Keep stretching and strengthening, as I'm sure...

Yesterday in the Beauport Ave. neighborhood, a good sized green hummingbird. Not kidding. At the apple blossoms.

If you ride the train into Boston, check out the small piece of marsh just before the Beverly Farms stop on the right side. There has been a pair of either glossy ibis or white-faced ibis. I only know of one other spot where I've seen ibis - in another piece of marsh off of 1A in Rowley.

I just saw a brown-headed cowbird and a rose breasted grosbeak in my backyard. Shot video of the latter (which I'd never seen before) at the birdbath.

Anybody seen any interesting birds lately?
