And today (Monday, I mean), there was this: "An Ipswich man honked his horn at a car that had stopped in front of him Saturday afternoon. The problem was, the car in front of him had stopped so the driver could talk to the police officer. And the police officer was not happy about the honking horn behind him."
Barring the sentence fragment, I think it's hilarious, but I'm a bit puzzled. It's quite a difference from the normal "Mr. So-and-so, 34, of 28 So-and-so Road, Gloucester, was arrested at 2:34 PM Saturday for so-and-so."
So who's writing these police notes? Let's get them working on a novel.
