For Lula's fans......Lula's Pantry recently moved into the space formerly occupied by Mark, Fore and Strike on Dock Square. It's more spacious and
a fantastic location. In my opinion, it's the best store downtown. It's great to see one of our hometown businesses grow!

I love Lula's and hope the new location works out well for them. I'm not so convinced it's a fantastic location, however, since parking around
there is certainly no better (and maybe a bit worse) then where they were. But the expanded space is a really good thing. I'm hoping they expand into more
perishable foods (as they've considered I know), but frankly they're going to have to moderate their prices a bit. There are quite a number of things
they carry which are available elsewhere at a much lower price. Ned was giving them considerable competition already. I'd love to see them share a bit of
the space in there with her.

Ned's new shop looks like it is coming right along. Since it is just around the corner from me I keep checking on it.
I understand she is also going to be offering fresh take-out.

Not the best of times for upscale shops, but if they offer things no one else has and go the extra mile with customer service they'll do fine.
