Need a new driveway. Anyone know if Royal Paving does a good job? Any other decent companys someone could recommend?

Royal did a very nice job on my driveway and I would recommend them.
The guy that owns the company is very personable. After the job is finished he places a small, cheap "Royal Paving" sign next to the driveway as a warning not to step on it for a day or so. He says he will be back in a week to retrieve the sign but, of course, he never returns. He gets lots of free advertising this way. There has been a Royal Paving sign on Washington St across from Willow Rest for at least three weeks. I wonder how long it is going to take for the homeowner to catch on. |

While I do not own a driveway I do highly recommend Wally Carbal . He and his crew are very hard and experienced workers in that field. I know of many
driveways and parking lots he has done . His work is highly commended by many. Wally comes from a very rich background of a hard working family. He is one of
eleven brothers and sisters. His Father was a proffessional house painter. His brother Al " Roach Coach " Cabral was Gloucester's number one
waterfront mug up providers. Nobody went hungry when Roach Coach was alive. His sister Kathy had Kathies place for years, she too was a hard worker. Brother
George has worked the waters for years providing proffessionalism in Deep sea Fishing. THE cabral Family is Gloucester's example of hard working self

Check out what Royal just did on Beauport Ave. The homeowner told me they gave him a low price, and the job speaks for itself. Really well done. And yes, they
stuck their sign on his FRONT lawn, where the driveway isn't visible. Who cares about the sign, tho. The job looks like glass.

Royal did my driveway last summer..they were doing someones driveway down the street and knocked on my door offering a good price and we were planning on
having it done anyway...we're happy with the job they did..

Royal knocked on my door yesterday saying they had extra asphalt and could give me a deal. My driveway is not long AT ALL. They said regularly it would be
$1100 but they would do it then and there for $450. Is that the going rate? Yikes.

That is Royals MO - always have "extra" mix on the truck and then they start knocking on doors. Its not cabinet making, they all can do it, but
I'd give the local guy the business - call Wally.

When it came time for me to pave my drive- I did, and highly recommend that you always seek quotes from at least 3 contractors.

We had Royal do a small job. They showed up on time, did a good job and their price seemed reasonable. I don't think you can ask for more in any paver.

I got a second quote from someone out of town---name I cannot remember .( the guy that rents the house I own that needs the new driveway knows him & he got
the quote for me.) He was 800 over Royal. I will round it out and call Wally. Thanx once again
