Panorama Pizza |
Lead | |
|
I see the Bridgeside Pizza is being gutted/cleaned out and a "coming soon" banner for Panorama Pizza hanging. Lets hope they clean that place good as
it has always been a dumpy looking business. We do not need another pizza joint but I reside in the neighborhood and will try it and wish them luck. Anyone
know who is opening it?

Wow! It's about time. I went there a few times years ago. Never again. The turistas will enjoy a new place, that's for sure. As for me, I'm
pizza'd out in this town.

Let's hope their pies live up to the panorama.

Their pizza was actually pretty good. The dirtiness of the place was a definite turnoff, though. |

Why can't we get a good pizza place here...man I had some pizza in Connecticut that was just outstanding.....thin, crispy crust about 1/8" thick,
perfect sauce / cheese ratio....just so FRUSTRATING that no one gets it really right. Even tho I have been in New England for 29 years, I still miss that
OTHER pizza from the NY area.
When in doubt, twirl.

I hear you loud and clear on that one, Sparky. There was a place at E. 23rd and 1st Avenue in Manhattan that I worshiped. Sick but fulfilling obsession. I
can't bear to dwell on those thoughts.

man I had some pizza in Connecticut that was just outstanding. Wouldn't happen to be Pepe's, would it?

OMG, Frank's it was. The guys barely spoke English and often got into verbal brawls with visiting thugs. Very entertaining and the best pizza ever,
especially hot and dripping.

There was a NYC-transplant pizzaria in NJ where I grew up. It's so legendary that it even has its own Facebook group. Whenever I go home, my family makes
sure we have one night that's reserved as a "Nicolosi's pie" night.... YUM!
