Wow, one good thing throughout this whole CF was seeing Ray Lamont (sp) the GDT Editor on tv. What a huge fucking meat scarf of a face this guy has. I'm
usually pretty easy on people but this fat bastard has done some OT in the eating areana to deserve the meat scarf he was wearing.

What kind of a post is this? I thought there would be a comment of some real substance when I saw the GDT Editor subject line, but instead it's just a
childish name-calling outlet. Cuz I'm sure everyone is perfect. I don't care who it is or abotu the paper, but at least our own paper never
sensationalized it or called it a pact like the national and int'l news has so far!

Cause our paper was busy being political and trying to minimize the story. Wonder whose direction that was under?

The new Editor has been in my view , Honest and up front since day one. The exterior of ones being should not be a judge of that person. He has in my opinion
an open mind on being fair as far as his consceince will permit him. I had an uncle who since a few years past has died. He was loved by all who knew him. He
too had an awkward appearance,but what he did in his earthly journey far out weighed
his exterior. His body exterior was caused by a medical condition called elephentitis. Huck Finn

The editor has been fair, searching, open to printing differences of opinion, on all kinds of tough subjects. He's accessible, and responsive to the
readership, and deserves kudos, not whacks and whackos.

The Times has had some pretty terrible leadership over the years. I think this guy is a big improvement based on what he has done so far. I particularly like
his explaining why the paper handles issues the way the do.

I have to admit that his door is open and he has been fair in many things. I do think the more venomous editorials are done by Jonathan Pope though and Ray

Jonathan Pope isn't an editor there, I've seen columns in the Beacon by him, but not GDT. If you look on the GDT site there is an editor by the name of
Pope, but it's not a Jonathan...
