Then I decided to clean the dories out at St. Peter's park. What a mess.
By the time I finished, there was no way I was not going rowing.
Just as I reached Cape Pond Ice, there he was in my wake. He nodded and gave me a few shakes of the head and dove.
When I got out by the greasy pole, bang, there was one of the little seals right under my transom.
Then his buddy joined him. They stuck with me most of the way out from the cut bridge to Ten Pound Island. Then they dove and the big one popped up again as I came by the CG base..
Two of the racing rowers were headed out as I came in. I hope they got entertained as well. They are serious and row a lot faster than I do though. One of them usually takes her little dog along but did not today because of all the slush in the boats. The seals would get quite a kick out of the little dog I think and the entertainment would be mutual.
