When you first posted those, Dun, I sent them to all my friends and they couldn't believe that people were crazy enough to be out walking in that weather.
Love them.

I was there during that, and even though the weather was "crappy and horrible", as my hotel owners put it, I was LOVING it!!
I was driving down the Boulevard to see the sprays and splashes, and saw those parents walking with their kids... I was HORRIFIED!!! then we went to the Back Shore, and got out, but we didn't go too close to the water... Like within 100 feet. My kids were to scared, and the Back Woods chick we brought was freaking out |

I know, one of the first rules of living near the ocean (after having to know how to swim), is to stay back from waves. I know it is stupid, but, I sure loved
to dance within the curls, when the waves hit the boulevard.

A rule I have learned about the hard way --- if the waves are very high and you drive a convertible, put the top up before cruising the back shore...
