I had to go out for a meeting this morning and as I was coming back a few minutes ago, I stopped on Rogers Street by Harbor Loop to let a group of school
children with their teachers cross the street. It looked like they were coming from the Maritime Heritage Center headed toward City Hall. Anyhow, I wanted to
say how well-behaved and polite they were. Several of the children turned and called "thank you" as they crossed in front of me.
So, if you are the parent of a kid out on an outing today, I just want to say they looked like they were having a great time and they were very polite. They made my day!
