The thread by this name has been moved to the politics forum. CAW has asked that we try to keep "politics" where it belongs, which is where this has gone. It is not always easy to do this, as "political" confrontation has become more deeply woven into the fabric of our society in the last few decades. The word "politics" is italicized because the confrontational game is very often played out under the guise of political discourse. In other words, politics is often a thin shell which covers personal attacks, name calling, labeling, flaming and many other behaviors which we are working to soften up on this forum. But you may notice that we are not trying to eliminate them from CAO entirely, so if you enjoy the brand of political exchange described above as much as Lefty, Willard, Retired and I do, there is a place provided for it. Please don't do it here.
