" And if the Building Center relocated.........just think of the possibilities"
I assume this will happen the day after pigs fly? |

I've heard scuttlebutt that the BC may be thinking about that! After all....it's been awhile since the last coal ship tied up to their docks!

When it was suggested last year, the owner just about had a conniption last summer.

They had a float there until about 1972 or so. I used to pick up lumber there with my lobster boat to work on floats over by NS Arts center.

Doesn't the main BC owner live on a horse farm in Virginia?

The building center stores looks like its time for a makeover.I wondered if something was going on or it just wasn't being kept up.
I also wondered why with all of their resources they never did anything with the waterfront.I understand that geting permits and all the other stuff is tuff but I would think if any company could do it,it would be them.Maybe they are getting ready for a move. |

The permits they applied for many years ago are still in limbo. You can apply for these permits but unlike other types of permits they are under no time limit to respond. |
