Certainly are doubling up...should be quite the contest. The two are inexorably connected in some mysterious manner. Asians understand such connections...

Bill's endorsement of his wife yesterday was very effective. Based on her VOTES, her care of veterans, and followup on survivors of 9/11/01, among other
talents she's totally dedicated to her country.
He spoke of a golfer who approached him, Bill, on a golf course, and told the story of desperately needing support, after helping save many lives, inside the collapsing structures, in Manhattan, on 9/11. He said he called many politicians, others, to get assistance from the V.A. and other agencies, as he lay suffering from his near death injuries, where were nearly fatal. But that HIllary was the only one to call him back. She then assigned a staff person to go see him, and intervene for him, during his long painful recovery, of several years. He told Bill Clinton, then, on the golf course, that his wife should be President, and that he'd work hard to help get her there. |

Just in case anyone has forgotten:
1) Hillary still won"t release her tax returns. 2) Hillary repeatedly denies knowing what BET"s Johnson meant with his innuendos, but then later apologizes for his remarks. 3) Hillary plays the race card by belittling Dr. King"s accomplishments and stating that Lyndon Johnson did more for the Civil Rights cause than King did. 4) Cynically explains away her loss in S.C. saying, "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina, too." Actually Bill gets credit for that one. 5) Threatens to sue Texas over it"s primary system. 6) Says she never praised NAFTA even though she did so in her own memoir. 7) Demands that Michigan and Florida delegates be counted even though she agreed that they should not and her name was the only one on the Michigan ballot. 8) Hillary cries TWICE. Both times conveniently the day before a big primary. 9) Releases a "Fearmongering" ad about keeping our children safe. 10) Releases a picture of Obama in traditional African garb to Drudge then denies it. 11) Literally runs her campaign into the ground financially and has to loan it 5 million. 12) Is currently being tried for fraud in Los Angeles. 13) Said that caucus states are unfair to women and that"s why she loses them. 14) Fakes getting angry about mailers two weeks after they were released. "Shame on you, Obaaama!!!" Ucch. 15) Cheap shots Obama with Xerox line then steals Edwards closing remarks in the same debate in Texas. 16) Plays the "woman card" during the last debate in Ohio saying it would be great to have a woman in the White House. 17) Embarrasses herself mocking Obama in a campaign rally. 18) "Obama is a fairytale," line. Actually Bill gets credit for that one, too. 19) "See? Obama loves Ronald Reagan! He just said so!" Not. 20) Complains about getting first debate questions and references SNL during a national debate when complaining about media bias. 21) Reject vs. Denounce tantrum. 22) Kept a check from a corporation that has been on trial for years regarding over 100 sexual harassment complaints. 23) Now says that if Obama does not sweep all four states on Tuesday than something is wrong with his campaign. 24) And finally, Hillary STILL STILL won"t release her tax returns. |

When this campaign began, I was just pleased to see two candidates who could be better leaders than anyone the Republofascists could ever put up. I still feel
this way. On the Republican side, Huckabee has fallen further and further behind in the race, but has consistantly been a gentleman about it. Not that I
favor Republicans much, but Huckabee deserves respect for his attitude. Even more than the specifics you mention, Rainy, the fact that Hillary is repeatedly
losing her cool does not bode well at all for her leadership talents. The US presidency is probably the most stressful job on the planet, and we just cannot
afford to have a person in that position who cracks under pressure. On the other hand, Obama has remained cool pretty much all along.
