Um... not for nothing, but I think that website is Bull Shit...
I typed in 2518 Main Street, Rangeley Maine, because my address never comes up.... and the site showed my street, and a pin point approximately where my house is, and the name Ernesto Chavez popped up, with a conviction of Attempted Vehicular Manslaughter... Ok.. let's discuss this.. First of all, there is NO Ernesto Chavez living in Rangeley, let alone MY street... (there are 1200 people in this town, I assure you there are NO Chavez's living here) and secondly, they had people listed as living in the middle o the lake... all 6000 acres of it... This is the whitest town I have ever seen The closest felon living near me is a guy named Reno.. and he was in jail for 3 years for a B&E, and I don't mean Bacon & Eggs.. I think this website is banking on the fact that most people do not know their neighbors, and it causes a little panic... I'd even go as far as to say, if you went to Switchboard dot com, and tried to look up some of these names, they would be "not found"... and if you took it a step further, and called the POlice Station, they would have no clue as to whom you are referring.... |
