Six police vehicles |
Lead | |
|
While walking the Boulevard around 5 this evening, no fewer than six police vehicles (two unmarked but lights and sirens ablazin') went flying by, headed
toward Magnolia.
Of course I have no idea what was going on, and there were no rescue vehicles accompanying them. Anyone know? |

I am always wondering what they are up to. On Saturday afternoon, I was sitting near the window at Trattoria, and two cruisers went by NO less than 7 times
each. Really, every few minutes another cruiser would coast by. Thought they may be looking for someone but never saw any action.

The police appear to call for backup at the slightest provocation. Traffic stops with 3 or 4 cruisers have become the rule. Not enough real crime happening or
have misdemeanors become more dangerous?

Funny, when I saw the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh head on by, my exact thought was, "Who the heck is watching the rest of the city??"
I'm thinking there are only about six cruisers total, not counting the unmarked, but maybe I've just never seen all of them heading the same way at the same time before. |

I heard that something happened during the 911 call to the police that the line went dead before the person said what was wrong so that may explain all the
cars responding. They have no idea what is going on so they do need to respond. Unfortunately in this day and age anything could be happening, weapons may be
involved , unwanted guests the list could go on and on. Calls that involve domestic problems tend to be the worse calls to respond to cause you never know what
you are going to find.
