I'll make a bold prediction that some, if not all of the development is not completed and the space that is build will remain empty. You will see a number
of the retailers mentioned in this thread first post terrible earnings, then bankruptcy and closures.

Not the best of times to go retail in a fickle market, for sure. Must have winning formula.

Perhaps they should try something really different, like opening from noon to 8 pm. It would have to be all of them and well advertised.

I can't say that this is the best economic time to be embarking on a business venture but, hopefully, by the time the development is completed things will
be better?

Does anyone realize that that property was paying something between $8-10,000 a year in taxes and will be paying either $650,000 a year or $800,000 a year.
Does anyone else think that we could use that money to perhaps fix this-
Or any of the other glaring problems that we will be facing financially.

Well, the work has begun on Gloucester Crossing. I just drove my son to baseball practice at Green Street and you couldn't get in through Fuller School.
There is a long green fence all the way around the Fuller field, with a small opening at the end of Trask Street to walk through. They have started building a
road where the turn off is to the former junkyard and there are a bunch of heavy equipment trucks there.

Groundbreaking at Washington street by the Richdale as well. We "on the way to the Willows" folks will NEVER patronize the building center for their
sneaky success at getting their houses in. Joe Parisi is a total puppet.

It used to be really nice on this cape.
This is progress? Re-definition of progress = stopping construction of projects that deforest, use scarce resources and pollute. Don't walk in front of me, I don't follow. Don't walk behind
me, I don't lead.
