Not so nice is when you turn away from the water and see the depressing disrepair, dirty streets, crumbling rail on the Boulevard, pitted and pot-holed sidewalks and streets, rundown buildings, etc., etc., that have, in large part, come about because of a lack of funds.
Responsible progress that we need in terms of shopping, tourists draws, etc., should be welcomed because their arrival may well contribute to the revival of what should be one of the most beautiful places on the East Coast.
Personally, I have great hope that with Kirk, and the coming construction, that we will, at long last, be headed in the right direction.
