Maybe the women can make a choice to leave, but the children? Girls 13, 14 etc.... You make a contention they were free to leave? Where would they go?
Should they "know better" if this is how they are raised? Is this a valid argument for allowing this behavior to continue? It is absolutely every
person's duty to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Just because the parent's make poor decisions, the children should not have to suffer
the consequences. If they (women and children) were allowed to make choices, based on experience within and beyond the confines of the sect,
then your argument Ms. Dimples, would stand. Otherwise, there is no reson the victims would know there is another way to live.

I agree VR. I certainly did not mean to imply it was a simple task, just an illustration that a child would have no concept to leave. But, you make an
excellent point, the women who grew up within the sect don't either. I am unaware of how long this sect has been established and do not know if the adult
women had any exposure to outside the sect.

One of the major flaws in your examples, Dimps, is that this is happening in a country where it's illegal. Period. Forget all the "beliefs"
involved for a moment and simply consider that it's against the law. Or should we all just decide not to abide by the law because it isn't our belief?
