Dimples, I have figured out who I am going to vote for and the reasons. You have clearly made your position known. I do not think my reasons for voting will persuade you in your decision making process nor am I campaigning for Obama so you are going to have to make your own decision. If the choice is Obama or McCain I think anybody who is concerned about the war in Iraq needs to vote for Obama. But hey, that's just my little opine. |

Riverdale park does not concern me the way you think it does and you continually juge without listening. I have lived all over the country, in many, many states, and when I was young, in a park exactly like that one. What concerns me is when you all talk about the "less fortunate" and the "difficult circumstances" that put most of them there, and the poor shmoes who know no better or didn't make good choices. To take it to the most simplest of examples.....When you tattoo your body with inappropriate shit, and pierce the hell out of your body, and sport giant holes you can see through in your ears....I AM SORRY, YOU AIN' T GOING TO BE WORKING SOMEWHERE THAT PAYS WELL. Pretty much the fact. At the 99, NYAJ's, Applebees, and most nice restaurants, nursing homes, hospitals, City offices, you are not allowed to have visible piercings or tattoos. I have my crosses to bear in that respect but was smart enough to hide them when I looked for work. Stop coddling. Lets reserve the welfare and resources for those who TRULY need it through no fault of their own. I hardly think that is an elitist attitude. Just reality. |
