I saw that too...
I heard a while ago that his Dad was a nightmare to deal with.. I, personally, am HAPPY they made his Dad stay away. Poor kid |

He looks like a scared rabbit when he sings. I hope it is true that they are making the dad stay away.

I absolutely love that kid! I think he has the nicest eyes (when he keeps them open) and he seems to be a damn nice kid. I'd love to see him win, but am
afraid that if he does (or even gets a recording contract if he doesn't win) that his Dad will have total control because he is under 18. That boy can sing
anything and does it with class. God Bless him.

How odd... I think she's the best of the remaining bunch.

How odd...you're so, so wrong. She's plastic and shallow...has been since it began. A cute, black Stepford Girl.

I didn't like her much in the beginning, but she's improved greatly.
David Cook is a smug, annoying, admittedly talented boor. (I have inside scoop on him, so I'm biased.) The other David just gives me the creeps. A boor? Nah - a bore, I'd give you...but he's bloody good.

No, actually he's a boor. Trust me. He almost got punched out by the Aussie guy for being an asshole to some of the others.

Just watching it for the first time this season. (I'm such a fan....bletch.) David Cook hands down. Little David is too troubled looking though he has a
decent voice, but to me nothing spectacular. Syesha is very ordinary, IMO. Sounds like just about everyone else trying to imitate big name singers.
But what the hell do I know. |

No, but I know one of the others personally.

Is it me or does David A seem "off"? He reminds me of rainman of something. Looks like he's always on the verge of sobbing. I can see him on
broadway for sure, belting out a show tune.

I picked David Cook to win way back when he was in the top 24. I was at the dentist and reading in Entertainment magazine that he has been most gracious with
giving up songs when two people want one. Was that his issue with the Australian guy?
Also, arrogance and confidence is not exactly an uncommon trait in a top performer. |

One specific event with the Aussie guy -- Cook was mocking Amanda on the shuttle bus from the studio to their dorm/apartment building, bringing her to tears.
(Yes, Amanda was brought to tears -- I had a hard time believing it, too...) When they all got off the bus, the Ozzie grabbed Cook by the throat, threw him up
against the wall, and made him apologize.
They all loved the Ozzie. Wish I could remember his name! Oh -- I have to admit -- Cook was superb last night.

I loved the Austalian and can't believe I can't remember his name. He was not that forgettable. I especially loved when he sang Dream On. Michael? Cook
doing Roberta Flack was awesome!

Very great choice of a song, IMO. I can recall the first time I heard it.....on the car radio....had to pull over and listen.

The Aussie was rather ordinary - lacked charisma, had bad self body-image and bad hair (but there again...Cook has pretty bad hair, too) He was a very good bar
singer, not much more.
Amanda had her moments...but was pretty annoying - a one note pony. She brought me to tears...of boredom. Sayonara Sayesha. |
