Have watched it twice now. One CNN commentator dubbed it correctly, imo, calling it "Hardball Politics," and a "Softball Nomination,"
hinting that the whole thing was orchestrated by Edwards to whack Hillary Clinton, who kinda wondered where he'd been on the same issues, Edwards and
Obama, had been rehearsing for 2 weeks now. No one has worked harder on affordable health care for all, these last 3 decades, than Hillary, imo, so I don't
know where Edwards was coming from.
She corrected him, reminding him of the bills he'd supported along with her, in the Senate several times, about which he was very vague??? Maybe Edwards didn't remember his own recent voting record? He tried to make her look the spoiler for the Democrats, by continuing her bid for the Oval Office, aand not just stepping aside so Obama could take the nomination. But Edwards missed his target badly, imo. Hardball Politics, indeed.
At 9 pm we get a listen to former Gov. Dukakis, on Larry King Live. King hints Dukakis can smell all the rats, having had the rug pulled out from underneath him by some of his fellow Democats, in 1988. Juicy political tv tonite, for stronger stomachs.
