Last time that happened to me was at Lake Placid. Anything but placid at the time.

Years ago, Annie. I'd love to return. So, um, placid. Nothing flaccid about that trip, though cold, about 12° most of the time.

as a side note... Remember the other night when I was all whiny and craving chocolate, and there wasn't ANY in my house, so I claimed?? Well, today is Miss Shenanigan's 5th Birthday Party, and as I was filling the Pinata, I realized what an airhead I can be at times... I have 5 1/2 POUND bag of Tootsie Rolls and Tootsie Rolls Accessory's... I guess I was thinking it was for her Party, and not for me to eat!! |

I had a chocolate craving last night for the first time in about seven months, and I couldn't find any, either.
After a little deep cabinet digging, however, I came up with some Trader Joe's semi-sweet bits, so I spread a bit of peanut butter on a Ryvita Fruit Crisp, sprinkled a few bits on top, and ate that. It was very satisfying in terms of crunch, "fat," and chocolate. Of course it was SOOOO satisfying that I dumped the rest of the chocolate chips upside down in the trash barrel so as not to be tempted by another!!! |
