oldhip - you'll like this one. Driving golf balls on a field with one of my kids several years ago. He's a powerful driver and sent a fast one high
into a tree. A few seconds later, a squirrel plummeted to the ground, lay there for a few breathless moments, came to life and limped off to parts unknown. We
stood there in shock with our mouths open...and then carried on.

That is too funny.
When I was a teenager some friends of mine had their own apartment which they really couldn't afford. They had a dog and taught him to steal dog food from A & P. They would go in the store, take a can off the shelf and and put in the aisle, the dog would wander in and pick the can up in his mouth and walk out with it. Never got caught as far as I know. I still don't know how the dog was allowed to just walk into A & P, no one would chase him out. |
