Sunday June 8, '08 Waited 30 mins at the "Cut Bridge" this afternoon. Already in line when the bridge started to go up, couldn't turn
around, cyclists everywhere. too, trying to get across Just checked on the City website to see if there's a posted schedule, but there isn't.
It stayed up, mostly for small craft, ie little boats, as drivers were looking at each other wondering why it stayed up so long, when small craft could go thru the canal well UNDERNEATH the bridge when it's DOWN. Man running back and forth across the road over the bridge, on the western side, looking like he was trying to fit sections of it, on both sides into place. Is the bridge broken? Good place to avoid, in hot weather, especially on weekends.
