I'm new here and thought that you guys might know what those yellow "AMF 9.16" signs that are on lawns around town are all about? Is it a new cult? Is it some loony political message? Or just an advertisement for some business?
Thanks,
The Seaworm

Hello Everyone,
I'm new here and thought that you guys might know what those yellow "AMF 9.16" signs that are on lawns around town are all about? Is it a new cult? Is it some loony political message? Or just an advertisement for some business? Thanks, The Seaworm |

Political Signs for the state representative race. AMF stands for Ann-Margaret Ferrante and 9/16 is the date of the primary election.

Thanks for the answer. I will say that I have spoken to a number of people around town who had no clue what those signs meant. Me thinks that the candidate is
wasting money on a somewhat cryptic message FWIW.

SENIOR Goo??? Please god...tell me you meant, 'Senor'.
Ann-Margaret Ferrante's campaign (first wave) was kicked around in another thread ad nauseam just days ago...there's nothing to add. |

I'm new here, too, and I understand what she's trying to do...
To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.-Theodore Roosevelt, The Kansas City Star, May 7, 1918 |

Zanny. That is classic. Your little smilies. Classic.
How was AMF's birthday party. According to her mother there was to be a big announcement at the event. An endorsement, perhaps? Who was it? John Kerry? |

More likely a different Kerry... Kerry Healey...
