And I thought Fiesta always shut down early. I was near a group of cops earlier tonight and they were ALL over the crowd dynamics. They were identifying ones to watch, pointing out ones that they thought were drinking, picking out those who they thought could potentially create issues later. It was great. Much respect for the officers on duty who let people rip it up and have a great time but ensure the safety of everyone else. I was impressed by our force tonight. |

I am one of those that freaks that freak about a potential terrorist attack as I am boarding some ferry to somewhere. I worry endlessly in large crowds about falling bleachers, things dropping from the sky, whatever. When someone is weird in the movie theatre...I can't watch the movie. At all. I am a life long worrier. LIKE YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT???? Doesnt Leftie continually call me Chicken Little?? As much as I hate to admit it. He is dead on. We saw two fire trucks, a couple cruisers, and at least one ambulance racing up Langsford at around 11:00 last night. Sirens and horns were blaring. We
weren't sure what it was. The ambulance went back by the house around 12:00.
There are some bad rocks up around Folly Point that will eat you up if you are not careful and don't know the area. I hope those involved are OK. Nate |

Heard from a friend this morning that it was 400hp boat and they needed a cherry picker to get it off of the rocks. There's been a boat in the Lanes Cove
recently with two 200hp outboards--lots of people and they party long, loud and hard at the float. Don't know if it is the same boat or not.
