Was not the override vote in 2004?
and what happened when voted down - Mayor Bell took immediate action, believe it was the following Morning - He was going to teach us a lesson with the
following
FireDepartment Layoffs!
Sub Fire Stations were closed
layoffs happened throughout the city to stabelize the City?
Teachers were hard hit
surely this action saved thousands of dollars and should have contributed towards stabelizing , also
Didnt the City win victory over the overcharged sewer project, and kept half the monies that belonged to the residents of lanesville in 2004-2005
Why in 2004 did the City take over a certain project on Granite Street from WellSpring? Where did the monies come from
How much did the City if any contribute to Schooner, or Poles Hill
Was it not in 2004 -2005 when KirK head of the School Committee gave the City thousands of dollars that was granted to the Schools
Im sorry, I just dont trust the Hierarchies anymore- I feel that if the rates go up , the chiefs will find sudden monies for stabelization funds
overflowing and more raises, promotions and freelunches for these projects that the City cant wait to get their hands on. WE ARE THE HIGHEST IN THE NATION -
Its ridicioulous to say the least that an override would cure a Mismanaged City. I believe it was Manchester in 2003 , voted an override crying the schools
were suffering - the override passed and and lo and behold the school chief got a super raise into the thousands.....
I have said it before , and will say it again- We need accountability- ... No More Free Lunches, No more Raises , No More Mow Cutting, No more Gas , No more
taking City Vehicles to whereever you want- and for petes sake takes those riding toys from the cops and sell them immediately.... We needed them like a we
needed a hole in the head right now........
