Nice addition. Good bread and baked stuff. She had opened earlier in the year and then closed for renovations. The downside, of course, is parking, so best to
go on foot when you're around town doing things anyway or early in the morning.

I wonder if that is the place that makes the delicious goodies that someone brought to our last needlework
day. They were these yummy little squares filled with apricot, pineapple and coconut. She said she bought them at a new place in downtown Rockport. I usually
stay away from such things but, boy o boy, I was glad they came from Rockport and not Gloucester.

As I understand it, nothing is made there. It is all trucked in early in the AM from their sister shop in Boston. I found if you shop early things are good.
The later in the day the more likely you are to get hockey pucks.

I agree, d, but then that's true of any bakery these days. When I talked to her before the renovation she did say that a goal was to be able to bake some
of the pastry stuff on premises. Don't know if that's happened. It wouldn't make sense with the bread.
