Thats not a nice word Gang ... I haven't been following this thread anymore but saw your derogatory comment. The ambulance brought in $860K this year acdording to records. For FY09 the estimate was $736K and that was with the new rates to charge beign factored so the funds are sorely underestimated.

According to her state of the city address the GFD ambulance is #8 in revenue generation but the FD was not level funded but underfunded. With by some estimates a 3.5 to 5% cut. Hard to protect a city of 31,000 but you don't seem to care because it's "not going to happen to you" am I right? god forbid a kid be uneducated but thats ok if he has to die in a fire or wait 13 to 15 minutes for an ambulance because it's "not going to happen to me"

Nightstalker .. none of the expenses are paid out of the Ambulance revenue. It is all sucked into the general fund, never to be seen again. In the past the fund used to purchase new ambulances and fund some payroll and EMT costs but not since Ab Khambaty had the acount dashed and sucked into the general fund
