Has anyone here tried growing either rhubarb or asparagus in a container?

LWN -- both need to be in the ground. They'll freeze without the protection.

One more note wingnut, what killed mine was not the freeze. More the freeze thaw cycle in the spring. Fase it all freezes in N.E. down two 3 or more feet any
way. HAY BAILS might help.BOL

The Professor is Back!! woo-hoo!!!
anyway- I planted nothing but flowers this year... Sadly But I have my mint coming back, and I had to pull a bunch already, as we know it has a tendency to creep all over the place... My rosemary came back, as well as my Basil, and I have some thyme and lavendar... I am also excited, last year I found garlic growing in one of my herb gardens... I also found the Horseradish too... (The former owners planted all of that) Now I just need to find the Potato patch... I also have Strawberries, Blueberries and raspberries that the bears seem to enjoy more than I do.. |
