I was riding in a truck most of the way but replaced one of the soaked kids running alongside the sailboat trailer after Connors corner. A lot of the crowd
stood right there through the downpour and I was handing out wet candy and brochures all the way back to Lincoln Ave above the high school.

Well, Martin, I was directly across from you. We did not abandon the parade, but stayed dripping wet until the bitter end.

We stayed through the whole parade in spite of the pouring rains~~~cannot imagine walking in a parade with no one watching! Just a little rain--won't hurt
ya none~~and the walkers were wetter than the watchers. And the fireworks were great.
