I'm glad that the laws of the state provide for recall elections. In this case, I think it would serve as a vote of confidence for a mayor who won 60% of
the vote in the general election, then spent the first six months of her term cleaning up a huge financial mess.
I was a Kirk supporter during the campaign, I voted for her in the election, and I support the job she is doing. I understand that she didn't win 100% of the vote, and that not everybody feels the same way that I do. But I don't really understand why people think she needs to be recalled. |

Agreed, Martin -- I suspect if the recall election were held today, Kirk would receive an even higher proportion of the vote than she did in November...

Kirk is largely responsible for this "health clinic" idiocy that has encouraged the bastard-factory mentality that has taken root at the High School.
No surrounding communities are foolish enough to encourage such idiocy, which is enough to make Gloucester a laughingstock all by itself, but Kirks'
