Wasn't it just a year or two ago that the Beverly Cheerleaders where involved in a sex scandal? Ofcourse they didnt have to worry about becoming pregnant
seeing that there were no penises involved!

I guess the parade was something like the lanesville parade. It is a neighbiorhood event with no rules. If Lanesville did something like this, would everyone get pissed off at the whole city and mayor??? (Not throwing a stone towards lanesville, but just using them for a comparision)

I not only have a sense of humor, but within my own very close circle of friends, a very tasteless one at times. However, I am outraged at the lack of respect
these people have for other human beings, especially the children they are mocking. Yes, they are mocking our GHS and City as well and that is pitiful.
This is way beyond too far in the human decency department. I wish I could say I was speechless (but unfortunately, I never am - this almost got me there
though.)
Having NO CLASS does not even begin to touch what went on in Beverly Farms.  It literally & figuratively makes me sick to my stomach thinking of the
people who came up with the idea; the ones who created this float; let it roll down their streets in front of their families & did not walk away; and
judged it as a "winner" worthy of merit.
Folks,this is unfortunately the world we live in......  and I am
ashamed for my fellow "humans" if you can call them that. Too dramatic, maybe, but that is how I see it and feel it.

Some of us gave one participant in the Lanesville parade a hard time about merely carrying an anti Gloucester Crossing development sign. It was not even lewd
but the political nature seemed inappropriate.

I can't get over the girls in the video bumping and grinding in their mini babydoll dresses for all the world to see! They look way to comfortable. I would be really ashamed if that was my kid. |

In the end, they have only brought embarrassment to themselves. These are suppose to be family oriented events. Beverly Farms float committee screwed up
royally. I wouldn't want them to organize a child's birthday party.They might get strippers for the party's
entertainment.

"Horrible" floats of days past, but agreed that mocking kids was in very bad taste.. Her mom would have killed her if SHE did that! and me too

I don't even live in Gloucester, and it pissed me off. I enjoy edgy humor, but the display went beyond that into just plain vulgar.
