Who cares? This is a non-issue, to people who understand ingroups and the vernacular uses of the word "nigger."

There is a music genre called Gangsta Rap, perhaps you some of you may have heard of this?? The Snoop Dee-O-double G? Dre Dre? Tupac? It's a perfect example of the vernacular use that lwn describes above. Not a big deal to me. But, I'm adamantly against the use of the term by persons outside the "ingroup". A related example, I can call my sister a bitch, but no one else better. |
