I believe the plan was for Park to reconfigure the field from the direction it now goes, and also make the school entrance and service areas more safer.

The two roads through the field will service housing 188 units, so clearly that amount of traffic is not safe for children using the ball field or playground.

Spinn, I don't think SCA wants to stop the project. I think he as well as everyone else is tired of giving developers "free lunch". The giveaways
in this city are ridiculous and we can't afford this practice any longer. Sam Parks will make plenty of money but it need not come out of OUR pockets. Look
at the big picture!

Im 100% percent for Sam Parks coming to Gloucester -
but Im also 100% against paying for his multimillion dollar endeavors... the State Grants applied for project and granted are fine, but Our Mayor who is supposed to represent us in the best possible way is failing big time.... She has no business to offer up our water and sewer monies or the Charles Thompson Memorial Fund (wonder what Mr. Thompsons Family thinks of that?) or any other individual cost to families to invest in HIS MULITIMILLION dollar project.... At the very least she should have offered up the land for a better deal, but give no breaks ... We Gloucester Residents are in a Financial Crisis today, and tomorrow does not look anybetter----- Mayor Kirk , Please stop making behind the deal scenes as Bell did with Wellspring , and CAHO - and give the developers free rides - for one I cannot afford your deals no longer.....for 2 - If it cost my family over 1000 dollars a year to pave the way and I can only see if will take me years for Gabbys Fat Ass underwear I will purchase to pay themselves off.. |

I'm not against the mall..but to continue to give deveolpers a free ride! I know a few developers that are laughing at this city..and cashing in all the way. Make THEM spend to make money later. The city is so afraid of lawsiuts..they back down. Oh wait..who is in that office...the one they wanted to go! |
