The good ole chargers of the local stores deserve recognition. Like Ralf's Market on Concord- St W Glo and Friend St market. And I can't forget
Rubin's grocery by Saint Ann's church. Nice guy , let me cuff candy when i was in Central Grammar. Best Rabi I ever knew, actually the only rabi I have
known. My dad used to by coal for the Fishing boat stove from him , plus small bags of kindling. What happened to them folks or that way of just being kind??

Niceness is never a dwindling commodity. Practice it and don't expect payback.

Dwingling dollar of exchange rate without recovery. Sad but true.

We live in a village, way up in the country in NY. There are a group of women here who make blankets and quilts for ANYONE having a baby here. When the baby
is born, you just pick up your quilt or blanket at the coffee shop on Main St. That's it. Everyone gets one! Now, isn't that sweet?

Go for a walk on the boulevard and you're bombarded with kindness. I walk my dog down there a lot and one day I forgot my poop bag. So of course he pooped.
I was standing over it while my daughter tried to find a bag and this very nice man came over, discovered my dilemna and went to his car to get me a bag. He
went out of his way to help me and just made my day.

Why, the same thing happened to me just the other day, devilwoman! When my dog did her business, a kind of nerdy looking middle-aged guy came by, picked it up
in his hands, stuck it in his pocket and walked off, apparently looking for more. Little did I know then that I had been the recipient of a kindness, courtesy
of the great Willard J. Clinton!

For me being nice and showing kindness is in the giving and not expecting anything in return........cept for maybe a smile.

Everyone has that nasty part but we no longer need to exercise it unless absolutely necessary.

Garden Surplus. | ||

It's the time of year when gardeners have way to many Zucchinis and chard or tomatoes. WTF do you do with em?
I would plant acres if only someone would pitch in some and help to make it grow. How can the fortunate few help the folks locked in a apartment feed themselves and children with the free use of land. I keep trying , but so far, all I got was one guy with seeds and wanted me to do the tilling and planting. What the hell am I doing wrong? Got more then I need , how do ya share crop ? I guess is the question?----------Confused and to much Veggies for a carnivorous beast with a garden out of control. HELP what a waste.

Give all your excess to the local food pantry.

Again , while I am rambling on. Why do churches mow their lawns instead of planting edible crops instead? They run food pantry's and then pay someone to
mow grass. A group effort would to me be more prosperous for the masses who could pitch in with a little sweat equity and make life better for themselves as
well as others.
Where's the beef?

We'll be seeing many more gardens springing up everywhere, including more indoors.

I had a bus driver when I was in elementary school. Her name was Margie (pronounced Marg/e). Last day of school every year she would let the remaining kids off
the bus at the Dairy Maid and buy us all icecream. After the Dairy Maid there was probably two more stops so she had to buy for probably 10 kids. That's a
nice bus driver!
