I have not yet seen this movie, but I am not sure I agree with your statement that 'nobody can be one unless they allow it' in reference to being victimized. Being a victim is not something one chooses or allows; it is a situation or experience that happens and is usually beyond one's control. If one has been deeply wounded by an experience, whether physically, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, or even financially, one sometimes has the option of picking up the pieces and moving forward -- but not always! Being able to move forward or being strong enough to pick up the pieces is not always an option. Horrific experiences can shape and greatly alter the course of our lives. Those who were victimized need support rather than judgment.
