Why don't you just call GHS and ask?

If I recall correctly, to qualify as a candidate it needs to be a first home opportunity otherwise not financially possible.

I think you need to be a teacher in the gloucester school system.

You do not need to be a teacher nor a school employee. You do not need to be a first time home buyer nor have financial need. The house building project is
open to anyone.
Currently they are building a workshop (not a whole house) for Tim Grenier and Amy Ballin in Magnolia. This past spring they completed a wonderful house in Lanesville. The purpose of the program is to give "real world" experience to the electrical and carpentry students. There is an application process and contract. Contact Dr. Bill Goodwin at GHS for details. 978-281-9870, wgoodwin@gloucester.k12.ma.us You will obviously need to have a piece of land that you can build on with all of the permits. I believe you need to have a foundation in place (ghs doesn't do that). The key is you need to be patient. They build houses to teach students. They are not profit driven contractors (yet). They work around a school day/year schedule. In the end you pay for material and with a mark-up (20% I think) that helps fund the program. The North Shore Tech has a house-building program as well. I don't have the details but just call the school to find out. Good luck.

Ahhh. Ellie. I cracked up when I saw her name. Keep rooting for your charter while you get a brand new addition to your property. A total hypocrite.
