Yeah...appears to be a post lag and/or loss. Noticed that after I add reply to a post, post jumps to top, but my contribution does not show until I refresh.
Weird. Have lost a couple of posts, also, LWN. Perhaps we type too fast...LOL.

It seems to happen a lot when I post in Quick Reply then decide to go back and edit it. The whole initial reply is lost. I've gotten in the habit of
highlighting posts and Copying (Control + C) them before I hit Edit! That way I can just paste (Control + V) them into the new screen if I need to.

I,too, have had posts disappear, using Quick Reply. I posted something cute,for Damon, about 2 seals off shore here, mum and baby? Think the pair may be the
big seal he sees, while rowing, and her young un. The baby gets up on the big rock in the Outer Harbor Cove, Wonson Cove, but doesn't like to get its tail
wet, holding it high up out of the water when it leaves the rock. Quite hilarious, gymnastic to watch, or to do, if you're a seal.

Quick reply does seem to be buggy. Were all the lost posts made using Quick Reply? If it continues to be unstable, I can disable it and make "add
reply" the only option. Please keep reporting if you encounter problems with quick reply so I will know.
**I just posted using Quick Reply and am now editing it. Please make sure when you use Quick Reply that you use the button on the bottom right of the screen that says "Quick Reply" when you submit your post. There is an "Add Reply" link above the "Quick Reply" posting box than can make it confusing. The "Add Reply" link will take you to the reply screen without posting what you've done in Quick Reply.

I've had trouble with "Quick Reply" as well, especially if I try to edit a post.
