Florida Real Estate?
Local Real Estate?
Do you think we are at or near a bottom in any of these markets?
I wish i had some dough to invest.
I'd be throwing out ridiculous offers on foreclosed or short sale real estate in Florida right now.

I think oil futures are a safe bet...
To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.-Theodore Roosevelt, The Kansas City Star, May 7, 1918 |

At $110 a barrel now you suggest buying oil futures?
A little late to that game of speculation isn't it? LWN, would you care to wager a large cup of coffee that oil will be less than $110 a barrel on Labor Day? |

Count me in, Capt. A down turn in the Market just yells at me to "BUY!". Don't expect to make much any time soon but what the hey.

Keep away from anything real estate related - that issue has just begun to come to roost.

Want a good investment tip? Take any and all cash or stock and pay off any and all debt you might have, then buy gold with any cash left over.

Smart, Bobby. Other hot opportunities are basket funds of stable currencies, precious metals funds, emerging market funds like India, Brazil and China, mining
stocks, commodity funds, high-end collectibles and luxury real estate.

OK - here's a scenario...Sell all holdings in mutual funds, pay huge tax bill, and invest remaining funds in gold. Logical??

I'd invest in a precious metals fund. All metals are up bigtime and will continue to climb due to volatility.

Then what, Capt?
The economists are saying this is the most volatile and uncertain market since WWII. Are we listening? If a few countries stop trading oil in dollars, we are sunk.
