I suspect there will very painful cut's to ALL city services. Thing's do not look good.

The report will be read next Wednesday to all city employess prior to the public reading, although I was not told where that will happen or what time.

If my memory serves me correctly, Kirk promised a "plan" after 100 days to "turn the City around". Now she's "delivering" a
"state of the City address" after 100 days.

Doesn't it make sense to have a 'state of the city' address before a 'plan to fix things' address? Otherwise, it would be about 4 hours

I saw that sign in City Hall yesterday. The city employees will be the first to hear the Mayor's report. She is reprising it on Saturday the 12th at the
Boards and Commissions meeting at the Legion.

I think it's great the Carolyn is going to address all city workers before releasing her report. However, it sort of makes you wonder if there is going to
be a lot of lay offs or many changes are forthcoming and she will drop the bomb at that time? Just wondering............

I have to give her credit she seems to have the ability to see problems that the other mayors played the dunce to.
hopefully she will rattle a few departments that have been ripping us off for years now. No more audits just a swift kick in the ass to keep the pressure on them to perform. Hopefully she realizes that a prop 2 1/2 over ride that some wish for is only that wishful thinking. drastic measures must be taken to stop the bleeding and I think she has the BALLS to do it. let's hope |
