They plan to stay open through the holidays. A special room called the "tree house" brings absolute charm that this was once a family's home. One way to get to the treehouse is by the original very narrow winding staircase. The room is simple a room under a gable and not like a crudely built place hammered up it a tree. It also has its own restroom.
Okay. I wanted a burger at the Cafe that faces the marina's large car parking/boat storage... BUT THE CAFE OPENS NEXT SUMMER. Oh well, I was STAAAAVIN. I walked around the r b - and thought what a place to raise a family and actually the owner's and chef' families are involved. For families by families - great kids menu!
The menu is posted on their website - see prior post. There are daily adds when certain ingredients come about.
So I got back to the parking lot which at noon had quite a few weekday cars. Wait - ELLIE - there was a car in the lot with a Bernie bumper sticker. Oh wait looks like it might be my car
Then I cruised and parked at Essex's Richdales and went to "Essex River Dogs" for a Ruben and a dog. Perfect all around.

Liked the crepes place in Rockport.
Beauport.... like the atmosphere but had the worst tomato bisque soup in the entire world.
Still love the "scene" at Short and Main but too noisy to carry on a conversation. When I go out I like to converse with people without shouting.
