In case you missed it the Bruins live for another day. They have forced a game 7 to be played Monday in Montreal. Last nights game was one of the best I have
ever seen. They never gave up. The crowd was fabulous and very, very, very LOUD. It was great. The pressure is now on Montreal GO BRUINS!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to be a rabid hockey fan ... going back to the Original Six and before that silly third-man-in rule. Not so much in recent years .... but watching the
game I got that ol' adrenaline rush .....
The economy sucks, the war fuckin' rages on, the price of gas is gonna kill us .... but who the hell else has sports teams, and fans, like Bean Town? I mean, this Pats/Sox/Celts/Bruins playoffs thing has got to be a good foreboding of something .... when someone figgers it out, let me know. Meantime, a great diversion from the real world ... Jesus Saves ... and Esposito scores on the rebound. |

Sadly they lost last night, but I was impressed that they went much further than anyone anticipated! I'm still a fan, win or lose, so I've watched most
of their games for the last 40 or so years. Hopefully I'll see another Stanley Cup in my lifetime - but if not, hockey is still my favorite sport to watch.

Roxie, the game Saturday night brought back a lot of good memories of hockey of old. They have expanded too much and its ruined some of the great rivals in
this sport. Way back when you could beg , borrow or steal a ticket for the Montreal-Boston games. Frosty I am with yoiu they will be back and I am sure
Montreal is thanking their lucky stars that this series is over See you next year BRUINS!!!!!!

Sorry, but the odds were that they would not even make the playoffs - due to the many injuries and the loss of Bergeron. But they fought hard against the odds
stacked against them, played extremely well, and certainly did not fail.
