Came down from down east for a family event and figured I would look up up few "BOARD Characters". Found Realist and went for a cruise to find
some fish . Capt Joe's was first choice of coarse and I was glad too meet him. Nice guy and knows my ole fishing Buddy's. Pleasant , but short visit
introduced from CAO. Hope next time down I'll hang around longer, spring might come soon up Maine way. Might find a few more of you before I leave town.

Hey Joe - So nice to meet you! We did go to Connolly's and got delicious haddock - small and young. Feast tonight! See you again, soon, I hope.

Muffy, did you meet up with Gardy?

No , Wingnut.
Me and Realist actually just missed him at the old boat yard I used to hang out at, visiting a mutual friend. Hope to catch him on the way out of town tomorrow. |

I was glad you guys introduced yourselves. There's nothing worse than when someone tells me two weeks after we've met randomly that they were down the dock or out and about and they dont say hey, "It's me" |

I've met over a couple dozen posters over the years. Only one psycho. Not a bad average.

With all due respect, I have absolutely no interest in meeting anyone from this board.

Meeting people in real life is no guarantee against them causing trouble. I've met quite a few and have, frankly, gotten very cautious about doing that in
the future. But of the two who have caused me the most trouble over the years, one of them is someone I have never met and wouldn't know if I saw him. He
apparently knows me but, while I've been told his name, it means nothing to me.
True art is moral: it seeks to edify life, not to debase it, to hold off, at least
for a little while, the twilight of the gods and of us.

I've had the pleasure of meeting a few of the "oldies", a couple of which I totally and completely enjoyed...............
And I have to admit, there are a few that I think I would enjoy meeting.................... But as a rule, I try to keep to myself, as I find that it allows for fewer issues in the long run! |

I have met the people I want to meet, and a couple of others I didn't want to meet... Of Course, they had NO CLUE as to who I was..
There's a couple of others I would want to meet... |

I have enjoyed everyone I have met from this place.
I hope I get to meet Wide-Stance Willie some time, just to see what lurks behind all that wackiness. Quite a while ago, someone'd mentioned having a CAO party at some restaurant somewhere, with no one really knowing who was who. Some people'd be a
dead-givaway.

Wasn't there a party for boarders at Stage Fort Park many years ago? I remember people posting that some showed up while others did not.
